System requirements

First Choice Final Accounts is a single user Windows program and can run on XP, Vista and Windows 7/8 operating systems.  32 or 64 bit platforms.. You will require approximately 250mb availability on your hard disk . A multi-user version will be made available soon.

The program database platform is Microsoft Access 2010. Users do not require Access on their PC's as the runtime version is installed with the program. Final Accounts are created as XHMTL files which can be viewed in any web browser.

An installed internet browser is required. The program has been developed using Internet Explorer 9 and later versions should be fully compatible. An upgrade to version 9 or higher is recommended because this browser provides advanced web printing features not yet available on others. It is not necessary for IE to be the default browser but for full functionality, particularly in printing the accounts, it should be installed. Many computer users have multiple browsers installed and there are no performance or other issues doing this and you can continue to use your existing browser(s) as you do now.  If IE is not installed you can do so here : http://windows.microsoft.com/en-GB/internet-explorer/downloads/ie-9/worldwide-languages

If you have an older version of IE installed check your Windows Update to see how to upgrade.
